Crystal Elephant, "Full of Prosperity and Honor Around" - Amber/Red

The tradition of an ornamented drinking vessel comes to life with this highly embellished artwork of an elephant-flanked crystal chalice art piece.  Titled, “Full of Prosperity and Honor around,” the glasswork possesses a complete balance of design in its symmetry and the use of contrasting textures:  While the rounded base is decorated in rich floral reliefs, it slopes gently upwards in a smooth polish, providing a soft background for the central pieces that emerge from the artwork.  The inspiration for the chalice comes from the age-old tradition of drinking.  Here, a metaphorical toast is raised to prosperity and honor—forever solidifying the sentiment in an act and ritual of paying respect.
