Features of the work
LIULI's first upcycled coffee table collection, crafted with creativity and a commitment to sustainability. We repurpose glass from past artworks, blending Eastern artistry with our respect for nature. This ESG initiative, launched in 2022, reflects our core value of "creating art that is good for the heart." Founder Loretta H. Yang reimagines the traditional "pâte de verre" technique, experimenting with innovative colors and upcycling materials. Collaborating with the renowned Yong Jin Wood Crafts, we merge glass and wood to create a perfect balance of art and functionality.
Craftsmanship
This upcycled coffee table collection repurposes residual materials from the pâte de verre process. Instead of discarding leftover glass and casting residue, LIULI creatively reintegrates these by-products into new designs. The collaboration with Mr. Jiang was key to perfecting hidden wood joinery and refining the table's structure. By optimizing green production processes, LIULI seamlessly blends sustainable design with exceptional craftsmanship, turning waste into beauty.
