Antique Indian Teak Portal Door
Couldn't load pickup availability
This 19th-century portal door was discovered by designer Lucia Lawrence in the 1970s in Southern India and imported as the "mascot" of Lawrence & Scott. The door is a fantastic tribute to the history and architecture of the region, with intricately carved pillars and panels. Rich detail and often whimsical carving make this a dramatic exclamation in any space. The slightly weathered condition and open transom just heighten the story and deepen the wonder about whom had walked through these doors.
