We are always looking for ways to help interior designers and architects work with us remotely more easily.

While dimensions and shapes are easily represented with photos, a major challenge in specifying colors online is caused by the differences in color rendition between monitors. Most do not use external calibration tools and until everyone does, we have developed the Exact Color Support™ to assist you. We have talked to many interior designers 98% of whom have at least one set of physical reference color swatches in hand, either from Pantone or a major paint manufacturer (Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Valspar, Behr, etc.). We will continue to innovate to support our specialized to-the-trade customers.

Using a lab-grade colorimeter, we have measured the hue, saturation, and luminance values of many of our products. In the detailed listing of each piece, you will find paint codes from multiple major paint manufacturers and/or Pantone that correspond to the closest color of the product. While some paint manufacturers may not have a close match to some of the colors, we can help you get to the closest one available to you.

How to use Exact Color Support

For example:

The double gourd, Scarlett table lamp in Aqua Crackle has an Excellent match from Sherwin-Williams SW 2811 (Rockwood Blue Green). If you have the S-W swatch book in hand, you will be able to see the color using that swatch in any lighting condition. If you have another set of physical swatch, a quick search at Encycolormedia will find its Pantone equivalence (4198 U), or Farrow & Ball 47 (Green Smoke), etc.Contact us if you need a color swatch from another paint manufacturer and we will find an equivalent quickly.
